Resurrection Catholic Primary School students generally celebrate their first Holy Communion whilst in Grade 4. There is an integrated programme running throughout all levels of the school to help parents prepare their children for their First Communion.

Children attending non-Catholic schools are welcome to join our Sacramental programme. The programme begins when children are in Grade 4 and builds on what is already occurring in the home. Children generally receive their first Holy Communion when they are in Grade 4.

Sometimes a person has been baptised Catholic but has never received Holy Communion.

There is a process for this to happen called Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
